2X Records announces the Grand opening of the “Hands
2 India Foundation” in California, at Mr. Hefner’s
Mansion on July 17, 2001from 6:30 p.m. To 9:30 p.m. pacific
time. Reggie Benjamin will announce his pledge to contribute
a percentage of his debut album entitled 2X-Centrix
to the Hands 2 India Foundation. On the same day members of
the Indian Parliament will come from India.
Mr. Hefner will also receive an award
for his support on Freedom of Speech, Expression, and Press.
Reggie Benjamin will also receive
an award for his humanitarian efforts, and for being
“The First Indian Pop Artist. Reggie
Benjamin, co- founder of Hands 2 India will also provide entertainment
for this event.
The Hands 2 India Foundation was created to support and nurture
America’s 1st Amendment rights in India. Grants and
awards are given to honor individuals in India whose actions
have made significant contributions in the vital effort to
protect and enhance First Amendment rights for Indians. Nominees
will traditionally come from the areas of print and broadcast
journalism, arts and entertainment, education, publishing,
law and government. The Foundation will also supply aid to
India’s Homeless, Poverty Stricken, and for India’s
desperate need for clean water supplies in an effort to stop
the spread of Disease.
Reggie Benjamin of Club 2X Records, along
with, Alterna Hair Products, Club 2X Records, Celebrity1000.com
and (additional companies to be named), will host this charity
event for the Hands 2 India Foundation. Press, TV, and other
types of publicity will keep coverage of this event, and can
even be seen live on www.2x-centrix.com
via a dual web-simulcast. This event will receive over $2
million dollars of free publicity.
The guest list includes from celebrities to politicians such
as: Hugh Hefner, Actor Patrick Swayze, and Actor/Politician
