Reggie Benjamin Releases
First North American CD
Joanie Laurer and Sarah Kozer Perform Back-Up Vocals
CHICAGO, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- International pop singer Reggie Benjamin
will release his CD, titled "2X-Centrix" on October 21 in stores across the
country. The CD, which was produced by Grammy nominees, fuses the sounds of
R&B/pop with the beats of India and classical Indian vocals. The album's
first single, "Ride" features back up vocals and drums performed by Chynna
Doll, (Joanie Laurer, formerly known as Chyna from the WWF). Also appearing on
the star-studded album is Joe Millionaire runner-up and Playboy cover girl
Sara Kozer, who performs a duet with Benjamin.
CD release parties are being held in Los Angeles on October 21 at Barfly
on Sunset Boulevard, and on November 6 in Chicago at Le Passage, the city's
hottest nightclub. Benjamin, Laurer and Kozer are scheduled to appear and
perform.
Benjamin, billed as the fist Indian pop star, had a successful tour in
India last year and his music is at the top of the club charts in more than 15
countries. "2X-Centrix" is his first North American release.
