After Smackdown on UPN 9 (the NY afflifiliate), they had a report concerning the
WWF. Basically they got the opinions of some fans who said they thought the popularity of pro wrestling was up. The report followed up that the viewing audience has significantly decreased despite the beliefs of the interviewed fans. They also mentioned that right now, times were tight, especially with the lack of ticket sales, the failure of the XFL (man I know this kid who had season tickets for those damn
Hitmen....whoops it was me!), the state of the economy and the WCW purchase. They also mentioned that stocks had been down for a long time with the WWF but that they expected to start bouncing back and mentioned the adding of more shows (in reference to house shows). In this respect, this may even more hint at the roster split beint talked about. They also mentioned the changes would effect how we the fans would view Smackdown or something along the lines, which also might hint at the roster split. Anyway, hope this info helps.

On Access Hollywood tonight, they showed a picture of Hogan and Rock face-to-face on RAW, and asked if Rock would make a comeback tonight. They said when and where one can watch
SmackDown!, showed a picture of Rock on the big screen, and the segment was over. By the way, not once did they mention the name, "Hulk," as they only called him, "Hollywood Hogan." I don't know, but I thought that might be of note.
